A huge thanks for this. I couldn't get the original Samsung driver working, so I googled and found this site. Needed some configuration, but the helpful guide and the quality scripts and drivers I managed to install the printer without problems. I connected the printer via WiFi.

I can also confirm success with M2070W on Ubuntu 16.04 64bit.
Driver: suld-driver2-1.00.36

Printing and scanning over wifi is working.
I do not use USB cabel.

$ scanimage -L
