Title: CLX-6220FX netdisocvery output
Post by: madduck on October 25, 2012, 10:15:39
Hello,

I have a CLX-6220FX and thanks to your packages, printing works and setting it up was quite painless! Thanks!

Unfortunately, netdiscovery does not find the scanner. I have enabled everything on the MFP, it's on the same subnet and I have verified that it receives broadcast packets and answers them (ping -b), the SNMP ping does not return "unreachable", but netdiscovery still simply reports 0 printers.

Could someone show me their netdiscovery output, ideally for the CLX-6220FX, so that I can see if I can use the netdiscovery trick and simply hardcode the information?

I don't think anyone has ever posted the output for this particular printer, but if you do a search for "netdiscovery" in the Ubuntu forums thread (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=341621) you will find many examples of output that you may be able to adapt to your needs.
