[SOLVED] LINUX MINT 14 32 BITS no printing on SCX 3400 WIFI

hi every one,

here is the situation:

1. SCX 3400 WIFI
2. LINUX MINT 14 NADIA Cinnamon 32-bit
3. CONNECTION BY WIFI
4. DRIVERS: COMMON 4.0.35
PRINTER 4.00.39
SCANNER 4.00.31



5. SCANNER is working fine.
PRINTING TEST from main user is working fine.
I print from one USER. But I start having also problems of no printing.
as main user, I don't manage to print (except regular TEST).

the best i can do as main user is : starting the printing process, printer is *arming* (sound of paper in printer and arming), confirming the printing end and success, but no printing succeed really.


6. the printer was working fine previously, then I update to 4.xx version, and problem occurs.


what can i do?

Try going back to the previous version you had installed.

Is there a smart way to do it? Or shall I uninstall everything?

In other worlds:
- what are the necessary paquets to be uninstall?
- then, shall I go back to 3.xx.xx version? or a just a previous version 4.00.xx would be ok?

At least, just let me know the paquets to get uninstall.

You can install suld-driver-3.00.90 (or any other), and any other necessary changes in the packages will automatically resolve.

I just told the computer to install the file, it answered to me:

"Version : 3.00.90-1

Taille : 695Ko à télécharger, 2Mo d'espace disque libéré

Impact sur les paquets : suld-driver-4.00.39 (supprimé), suld-driver-3.00.90 (installé), samsungmfp-driver (supprimé), samsungmfp-driver-4.00.39 (supprimé)"

and after reboot it works.
