Samsung SCX-4216F works fine (via usb): Ubuntu 12.04 LTS - printing and scanning (scanning: xsane-frontend).

A new LTS-Version (Ubuntu 14.04) will replace the older one in the next month. Have we to do anything?

I am not aware of any issues related to Ubuntu 14.04, so you should not need to take any action.

Thank you very much for your answer. When Ubuntu 14.04.1 comes out, i will upgrade to this LTS fearlessly.
