Hello
I have a samsung xpress m2070 on Debian (testing/sid_multiarch).
The problem is the resolution: it works only 600x600 not 1200x1200.
Where I mistake?

pack install: suld-driver2-1.00.36, suld-ppd-4, suld-driver2-common-1

Thanks

Do you mean
1. that you can only select 600x600 (1200x1200 is unavailable), or
2. that if you do select 1200x1200 then it does not print?

If 1, then you might be able to just change the default dpi in the ppd file to be 1200 instead of 600.  Both resolutions are listed there.

If 2, it may just be a problem with the driver that cannot easily be fixed.  I have experienced cases where a printer would not actually print at the highest available resolution with the linux driver.

HI
first one.
I've edited ppd from 600 to 1200. anyway I tried to print with both resolution but the quality is the same.

It sounds like the driver is just ignoring the dpi setting.  Some do that.  I don't know why.

If it is possible to change the default on the printer itself, that might have an effect.
