How do I get printer to use driver once installed?

I installed the Driver2 package (second one I've tried) and it shows up in my list of installed packages, but I can't figure out how to get the printer installation program to recognize the right driver.  Whenever I try to reinstall the printer  using the graphical printer installation package all I can find is a foomatic driver.

I have a Samsung CLP-325W  on a wireless network and am running Ubuntu Studio.  I don't know what I am doing, which may be obvious from the question.

Are you using system-config-printer or some other interface?  (If you aren't sure, try running system-config-printer from the terminal.)  If it is system-config-printer, then you may need to skip any auto-detect routines (try it with the printer off) and manually select Samsung and then the driver.

If it isn't system-config-printer, try installing and using that.
