Looks like I am out of luck.
The darn scanner is detected by xscane , bit a hit and miss, as my pc has USB 3.0 only ports.
looks like I have better results when I connect the printer/scanner on a USB 2.0 hub.
The main issue is that xsane does not scan, just displays a
I even installed the latest (1...39) drivers on HP's site.
I also put that "SANE_USB_WORKAROUND=1" option on .bashrc
any ideas/hint pls?
