Hi there!

I got a problem with a new M2070 scanner-printer. I tried it on 2 machines, it works on an elementaryOS Luna (based on Ubuntu 12.04), but it doesn't work on Ubuntu 12.04. I tried the suld-driver2-1.00.35 package. Cups is 1.5.3-0ubuntu8.7 on both machines. The printer is connected on USB. I tried the raw Samsung drivers, before I discovered your repo, but I ran uninstall.sh on it, did a purge on the suld packages and instaled them again.

On ubuntu, it sometimes print a page beginning with SPL ERROR - Including Corrupted Data. The printer says Printing... on its display, and if I unplug the USB cable, it prints a page with a message: SPL ERROR - Incomplete Session by time out.

I tried to remove/re-add the printer from system-config-printer, but no luck. The same driver is selected on Ubuntu as on elementary (the only one under M2070).

Please help me on this issue! Thanks in advance!

CUPS 1.5.3 seems to consistently have problems with the Samsung drivers.  You may just want to update your CUPS version.

You could also try driver version 1.00.29.  Some people have reported that 1.00.35 causing printing errors, but there is no pattern I can see.

1.00.29 is working! Thank you so much for your help! And also thanks for maintaining the repository!
